Why Adhikar exists
Most Indians know they have rights. Very few know which law protects them in a specific moment, or which office to actually call. Adhikar exists to close that gap — in plain language, for free.
Turn the law into something you can actually use
The Constitution of India and hundreds of laws passed since already protect you — at home, at work, on the road, online, and in almost every situation you'll face as a citizen. The problem was never a lack of rights. It's that they're scattered across acts, sections, and government websites that assume you're already a lawyer.
Adhikar takes real, common situations — a pothole, a landlord who won't return a deposit, a police stop, a fraudulent bank transaction — and connects each one to the exact law behind it, the steps to take, and the specific office, portal, or helpline to contact.
We built this for the person who has never spoken to a lawyer and doesn't plan to, unless they truly have to.
