Adhikar doesn't require you to create an account, log in, or submit personal information to read anything on the site. There's no payment processing anywhere on Adhikar.

The one place personal information could pass through us is the Contact form — and even there, submitting it simply opens your own email app with a pre-filled message addressed to us. Your name, email, and message go directly through your own mail provider, the same as if you'd emailed us yourself; we only see what you choose to send.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information (like IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and performance purposes. We don't run invasive tracking, and we don't sell or share visitor data with advertisers or data brokers. If this changes in the future, we'll update this page.

The search feature on Adhikar works entirely client-side — it downloads a local index of site pages and searches it in your own browser. Nothing you type into the search box is sent to us or to any third party.

Pages on Adhikar link out to official government portals, helplines, and "verify this" search links for legal citations and court cases. Once you click through to one of those sites, their own privacy policy applies, not ours.

Adhikar is an informational resource intended for a general audience, including students. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and the Contact form is the only place any personal information could be shared with us at all, entirely at the sender's own choice.

If our data practices change — for example, if we add proper analytics or a newsletter signup in the future — we'll update this page and reflect the change here. We recommend checking back occasionally.
